Our Policies

DROP OFF AND PICK UP: Gymnasts should arrive no more than 10 minutes before their scheduled class time and must be supervised until their scheduled class begins. All gymnasts should be picked up from the gym no later than 5 minutes after the end of their scheduled class time. Parents will be required to stay at the gym for the duration of classes for all gymnasts younger than five.

BILLING AND REFUNDS: Pittsboro Gymnastics is a year-round program with a monthly tuition based on an average of four weeks per month. (If there are five weeks in a month, tuition is not increased. If there are three weeks in a month, credit is not given.) Your first month’s tuition is paid upon registration and will be due by the 1st of every following month. You must pay through the Jackrabbit online parent portal. Any outstanding balances on the 10th of every month will result in automatic withdrawal of your child from their registered class unless prior arrangements are approved by Coach Kaitlin. No refunds will be given for classes missed due to sickness or injury. You must provide 30 days written notice via email (kaitlin@pittsborogymnasticsnc.com) if your child(ren) will not be continuing in their registered class(es).

SICK POLICY: For the health and safety of all gymnasts and their families, please do not bring your child to class if they have not been symptom-free from any sickness for at least 24 hours.

DRESS CODE:
Girls: A leotard, (no skirts attached) are preferable. If a leotard is not available, a form-fitting shirt and bike shorts or leggings will work. No jewelry is allowed, other than small stud earrings. Long hair should be tied back securely.

Boys: Shorts and a t-shirt/tank top are preferred. Clothes should be tight-fitting. Baggy clothes will prevent coaches from being able to effectively instruct gymnasts. Long hair must be tied back.

Gymnasts are not permitted to wear jeans, skirts, dresses, or any clothing with zippers, buttons, or snaps. Students should be barefoot. All street clothes and belongings should be left in the cubbies provided. Valuables should be left at home. Pittsboro Gymnastics is not responsible for lost or stolen items. All open wounds should be covered with a band aid and athletic tape. Please let your child’s instructor know if they have an open wound.

CLOSINGS AND INCLEMENT WEATHER: Please check our Facebook page for closure information in the event of inclement weather. We will be closed on the following holidays: Memorial Day, Labor Day, Halloween (afternoon/evening classes), and Thanksgiving. If your class time is impacted by these holidays we will reschedule a make-up date for the class. In addition, we will be closed for the last week of December + first week of January, and last week of June + first week of July.

MAKE-UP CLASSES: In order to keep our teacher to gymnast ratios productive and safe, gymnasts will be allowed to make up missed classes if there is availability in any of the other class times for the class that they are currently enrolled in. All make-ups should be cleared with Coach Kaitlin prior to arriving for the make-up class.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS: If your child has a medical condition that may interfere with classes or require emergent medical attention, please email kaitlin@pittsborogymnasticsnc.com prior to enrolling to ensure that we have enough time to work with you on the best way to care for your child should something happen.

SOCIAL MEDIA AND WEBSITE USE: If you do not consent to the use of photographs of your child(ren) on our social media or website, please send an email to kaitlin@pittsborogymnasticsnc.com prior to attending classes.
